Can Your Skin Actually Get Better With Age?

can skin get better with age
The good news is your skin can actually get better with age—especially when you understand how your skin works and regenerates. Here are some surprising ways your skin can improve over time through 2 simple acts: protection and rejuvenation.

Protection: Wear an SPF (Even Indoors)
You need SPF even indoors, rain or shine. Dermatologists agree that the sun is the number one cause of aging. You already know that the sun’s rays are still there affecting your skin on cloudy days but what might surprise you is that they’re also reaching you indoors—unless you happen to work in a windowless room or a cave.

Unlike UVB light, UVA rays can penetrate through windows in your office, home, and car. While UVA doesn’t cause your skin to burn as quickly as UVB, it is carcinogenic and ages your skin. On top of that, Scientists have recently discovered that sun damage goes beyond the UV rays. It was proven that infrared and visible light may cause up 50% of free-radical damage that age your skin.

The bottom line: protecting your skin from UV damage with a regular SPF may simply be not enough. Philosophy labs teamed up with infrared light specialists to develop the first anti-aging breakthrough to target UVA, UVB, infrared light and visible light all at once: new ultimate miracle worker moisturizer with spf 30.

Rejuvenation: Get Your Beauty Sleep (Don’t Skimp on Your Z’s)
You need your beauty sleep, it’s not a myth! You’re not imagining that your skin doesn’t look its best after a late night. Chronic sleep loss can lead to fine lines, dark circles, and even make your skin age faster. Sleep loss can make you release more of the stress hormone called cortisol which breaks down collagen or result in too little of the growth hormone which helps repair your body.

The bottom line: Going to bed at a reasonable time consistent is important, but not the only way to keep your youthful look. Just as your body needs the sleep to repair, your skin often needs extra help in kick-starting its rejuvenation. Philosophy’s new Ultimate Miracle Worker Moisturizer has a multi-rejuvenating formula with high-performance bi-retinoid and active plant cells that help rejuvenate your skin throughout the day. If you want some serious super-charged beauty sleep, try the nighttime serum-in-cream to help reduce the signs of skin aging while you snooze.

This is how I really look

Some people are aware about a particular feature of their faces, as the nose, mouth or chin.

Although I do not hate myself, I do not excessive criticism, I am not comfortable with my whole body, from head to toe. 29 years of my life I have devoted facial hiding and finding appropriate clothes to better hide my insecurities. Well maybe you're thinking that I'm a crazy woman who walked with a bag on his head but no. At first glance, if I had known best cover my faults, for you I am a normal woman like all the others.

I would wish that were the case, but no!

I suffer from a rare disease called chronic autoimmune skeroderma. One of its simpromave is to develop red spots on the skin and after diagnosis at the age of 10 years, these ugly spots began to appear all over the body. At age 12, I began to hide them by using wholesale fondatinës.

I have become very cunning not allowing anyone except my family, to see me without make-up. For nearly 3 decades I have rarely come out of the toilet or in the house without make up. Not ever wear dresses, sleeveless dress, or things open, in short everything that shows part of the body.
My situation may be extreme, but I am convinced that most people in their daily lives trying to hide 'defects' in others. In a way I did I!Source: cosmopolitan.com

Smokey eyes Step by step-Tutorial

How To :
Want to master the art of sexy smoulder like actress Ashley Benson but afraid of turning out more raccoon than raunchy? Never fear! We show you exactly how to create the classic celeb approved look with the help of makeup artist and hairstylist, Tobi Henney.
“It may look complicated but a creating a smokey eye can be pretty simple,” admits Henney, “All you need to remember to do is blend, blend and blend to get that shadowing effect that really nails the look.”
Henney also recommends starting with your eyes before apply foundation and concealer, “This will ensure you don’t ruin your base with hard to avoid eye shadow dust.”
So you want to get oh so smokey? Here is Tobi Henney’s step-by-step guide:
Step 1. First, apply a creamy concealer onto your eyelid. This creates a smooth canvas for your eye shadow to stick to. Try ModelCo Fluid Splash 3 in 1 Foundation with inbuilt concealer.
Step 2. Now, sweep a pressed powder over your entire eyelid to minimise eye shadow creasing.
Step 3. Take a black eye pencil and trace your top lash line from the inner corner to the outer. Then, use the same pencil to line your lower lashes. Try
Eye Define Eye Pencil in Black.
Expert Tip: To create that undone look, smudge the liner using a blending brush, cotton tip or your finger.
Step 4. To create the classic charcoal look, use ModelCo Eye Shadow Trio in ‘Smokey Eye’ and start by sweeping the lightest colour shadow across your entire lid.
Step 5. Now take the medium shade and start to blend it from halfway across your eyelid. Always blend your shadow upward and outward into the crease of your eyelid.
Step 6. Using a fluffy blending brush, sweep the darkest shade into the outer corner of the eye and the crease to create a dark, intense shadow for the ultimate smokey appeal.
Step 7. Highlight your angles and create contrast by dusting a small amount of the lighter shadow over your brow bone.
Step 8. To balance the intensity of your upper lid, take the darkest shade and sweep a little just under your eye close to your bottom lash line.
Step 9. Now it’s time to blend, blend, blend. Use your brush to blend your shadow and buff out harsh lines, working towards the outer corner of your eye.
Step 10. Finish off the look with ModelCo Fibre Lash Brush on False Lashes for intense, jet black lashes.
There you have it, a smouldering stare in no time! Now just try and put the fire out.
